Seeing my people do ignorant stuff just vexes my spirit. You can imagine how I felt when seeing ignorant Black people put the French flag (the code for white people) on their Facebook profiles recently. Even more appalling is the number of Black people putting chemicals in their heads to look less like their natural Black selves. This act of torture had a name, hair relaxing. a hairstylist in Chicago's North-Riverside area. the straighter your hair's going to get. It has to settle in'.” Many who have had chemical straighteners applied to their hair have had experiences similar to the above exerts, The book tells the heart-wrenching story of Isabella Broekhuizen who suffered permanent hair loss due to an Optimum hair relaxer application, and her trials and tribulations that followed as she tried to sue L’Oreal. Although Ms. Broekhuizen was unsuccessful in her suit of L’Oreal, she decided to reopen the case in 2015 and also wrote a book detailing her ordeal as a bit of justification and a warning on the harmful effects of chemicals found in relaxers.
On top of ALL that, they are buying these products from French Cosmetics giant, L'oreal who sells 100% of their product Black people. French cosmetics giant, L’Oreal, who has hired Beyonce and other African-American personalities to front their products was in hot water in 2009. It’s ok for us to peddle their products but not ok for us to work behind the scenes. The highest court in France determined that executives at Garnier, L’Oreal’s beauty products division, intentionally created an all-White sales teams to promote their shampoos throughout the country, according to TimesOnline.com. Blacks, Asian and Middle Eastern women were hardly ever considered for hostess positions.
In fact, a fax was issued into evidence that requested “hostesses must be between 18-22 years old, wear a European size 38-42 and be BBR.” Apparently, BBR stands for “bleu, blanc, rouge” or French for “blue, white, red” the colors of their French flag which is also code for white people.
Wake Up Black People!
