We Are Way too Occupied with Distinctions

Really my brothas and sistas is it that critical that we be so religiously correct that we can't unite against the bigger threats  to our people? Our cliches alone are working against us as a people. Even within religions that supposedly agree, there is division. I grew up in a church that was in the same COGIC organization as the COGIC church just one block away. Could we not have been one big congregation? Perhaps it was that the power could not be shared in the pulpit. Whatever the case, it worked against the unity of the people. Divide and conquer continues to be a very effective weapon against us. There is no doubt a war against Black people in spite of the fact that skin color is an illusion to begin with. I don't want to get too deep with this. There really is no need for a deep, long drawn out discussion on this anyway. “United we stand, divided we fall” End of discussion.
